For researchers

We are always looking for new professors and researchers whose areas of expertise are tangential to the retail industry. The researchers of our platform are experts in a range of disciplines, encompassing business analytics, digital humanities, informatics, life sciences and social sciences. Join us now and help to solve the challenges the retail industry is facing from a multidisciplinary perspective!

What’s in it for you?

  • Network possibilities
Through our platform, you expand your network with more than just researchers or students. We are closely connected with partners, such as industry associations, governments,  funding agencies, retailers and other education & research platforms in the Benelux.
  • Research funding opportunities
By joining our network you increase the chances of obtaining (international) research funding for your university. With these funding and collaboration within our platform, we can create more impactful projects for the industry together.
  • More exposure for your research
We offer you a platform for your research to gain more exposure among retailers, retail stakeholders and partners, because of our valuable international network.

What do we expect from our members?

A membership within the Retail Innovation Platform is free of charge, but your hours incurred for activities for the platform are on an in kind basis. However, we do expect active participation from our researchers. You have a commitment to the research community you choose and put time and effort in attending meetings of the platform, writing research applications or organize specific theme activities with your fellow researchers. We also ask you to actively promote the platform while you have the change and share your newest retail insights, such as publications, events, or retail projects, with us so we can inform the industry about the latest developments.
