Strengthening the vitality of entrepreneurship in the north of the Netherlands. That is the goal of the research group Entrepreneurship in Change. The professorship does this in cooperation with the Hanzehogeschool Groningen and the Alfa-college. This cooperation produces a nice circle of knowledge, consisting of lecturer-researchers, MBO and HBO students, external organizations and entrepreneurs.
Vitality means the interplay between the entrepreneur, company and ecosystem. How can they reconnect themselves? The principle of serendipity, where unsought discoveries are recognized and developed, is an important aspect of the interplay.
In the research group researchers and students work in collaboration with partners from the innovation workshop Powerful SMEs on various projects and research. This discovery space contributes to strengthening the vitality of people, organization and ecosystem. In addition, the research contributes to the goal of training better student entrepreneurs.
